Overview:

Abstract: The Retabel fragment is a former late gothic Retabel composition. The Retabel underwent a dramatic transformation in the 17th century. Further deep reaching revisions in the course of the history of this form shaped its current appearance. The Diploma project encompasses both the technical analysis and the assessment of the conservation status. This forms the basis for a concept of conservation an restauration. which has been developed to maintain
the original substance in a way which improves its aesthetic revaluation.
