Abstract: This diploma thesis provides an overview about the history of the altar and the relief and also a description of all segments. She also includes the examinations of artistic techniques, including the later revisions, and the acquisition of the condition. It was made the elaboration of a concept for conservation and restoration for the entire altar and the relief. The designed measures partially could be implemented at the middle shrine and the related sculptures.
