Abstract: The current state shows different medieval paint layers of the century and a decoration with foliates of the late Gothic period. The conservation and restoration tasks included the stabilisation of the support of the paint layer and integration of surface defects. The theoretical part deals with the comparison of contemporary paintings of churches in stralsund.
