Abstract: | By an outer strength influence, there are single parts broken off and deformed at the honor column for Rudolf Virchow, which is made of 800 silver manufactured by Wilkens & Söhne. A concept for the reshaping of the deformation and putting together the elements, which are broken off, was worked out. To this, the plasma arc welding was tested successfully to 800 silver. The following techniques are used to the re-attachment of the parts, which are broken off: screwing, gluing and plasma arc welding. |
