At first, an overview of the general requirements canvas paintig fillings is given by a summary of the usual selection criteria of fillings. The technological requirements of fillings can be determined by considering the mechanical and physical situation on stretched paintings. It is followed by practical considerations and attempts to binder demand and the elasticity properties of fillings. The present work is intended to supplement the suitability criteria from previous studies .
