| Zusammenfassung: | The diploma work deals with the research on the causes and effects of the mould attack of the Beckerath-Organ in the church of St. Stephani/ Bremen by fungi of the Aspergillus glaucus-group. The attack is caused by fungi of the species Eurotium amstelodami and its anamorph Aspergillus amstelodami respectively. Both forms are counted to the Aspergillus glaucus- group. To define causes of the fungal attack and possible deteriorations of the object, the conditions of living of the fungus are observed on site and in laboratory. Therefore the influence of different factors such as quality of the substrate, temperature and humidity of the substrate on the growth and development of the fungus are analysed. Besides that the potential dangers on human health are surveyed. In this context the ability of the fungus to synthesize toxic metabolites or to cause mycoses is examined. |
