This bachelor thesis focuses on a block excavation from early Middle Ages of the grave field from Eltville, Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis district in Hesse, Germany. The block excavation comes from an inhumation burial. A part of the skeleton, plus funeral objects of combinate metals and organic rests were included in the block excavation. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to examine, to document and to excavate the block.
