Zusammenfassung: The present papers deals with the development for a catalog of late Gothic ornamentation on sacral furniture in Transylvanian/Romania. Different development processes such as the structure of the catalog data sheets and the creation of the signature numbers will be described. In addition, a further possibility of the documentation of late Gothic ornamentation is exemplarily tested by using the example of the desk parts of the sixseater Tobsdorfer choir stool.
