Zusammenfassung: | In order to demonstrate the activity of moulds a wide range of microbiological procedures is to be thought of. This are the ATP Bioluminescence procedure, the Mycometer-test™ as well as the photometric analysis of enzymes (NAGase = β-N-acetylglucosaminidase). Yet it remains an obstacle which of these methods shows the best results. Also their economic and practical efficiency has not been questioned yet. Answering this scientific gap is the purpose of this thesis. In order to do so, each method will be tested on specimens as well as archival material. By laboratory experiment specimens (5x5 centimetre straps of paper) will be vaccinated with living organisms. Also samples of mould will be excluded from the contaminated archival material. Based on these samples each of the introduced methods will be questioned upon its ability in detecting mould activity. In comparison the evaluation will show which one is best being used for financial and practical efficient restoration. |
