Zusammenfassung: | In stoneconservation sandstones containing clay minerals are considered as one of the difficult stones due to weathering sensitivity. The present elaboration treats the sustainable protection through applicating plaster slurry on buildings which are made of “Schilfsandstein”. The selection of binding materials used for plaster slurry (lime and silicic acetate) is based on traditional and modern recipes. Their aggregates try to respond to the stone`s composition. To check the hygric and mechanical characteristics the plaster slurry recipes were applicated on the non-weathered material. The results provide a basis for a development of a recipe that responds to the hygric dilatation of the sandstones containing clay minerals. |
